Ordinance was issued by focusing on current needs: Minister Karki (With video)

KATHMANDU: Government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said that the ordinance was issued by focusing on the current needs.

He claimed that the ordinance would help create a conducive environment for everyone to contribute to the country.

Karki said so during a press conference organised to inform about the decisions of the Cabinet meeting.

Responding to journalists’ queries, he said, “This ordinance was issued to bring all the political parties involved in criminal activities and groups into mainstream politics.”

He said that the erstwhile government had also issued this kind of ordinance to grant amnesty.
