NC cadres staging hunger strike at party office detained at direction of Deuba

KATHMANDU: Police on Wednesday arrested cadres of Nepali Congress (NC) who were staging a hunger strike at the party’s central office in Sanepa demanding a solution to the problem of active membership.

They were apprehended at the direction of Prime Minister and party President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Party cadres from Sarlahi and Rautahat had been staging a hunger strike demanding a solution to the problem of active membership for the past two months.
