President Paudel gives approval to mobilise Nepal Army in by-elections

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has given approval to mobilise Nepal Army for the by-elections of the House of Representatives and the Province Assembly scheduled for  Saturday (May 15).

The approval to mobilise the Nepal Army was given as per Article 66 (2) of the Constitution on the recommendation of the National Security Council and Cabinet made on April 22.

The supreme commander of the Nepal Army is the President.
