Car hit kills two in Pokhara

GANDAKI: Two persons died after a car hit them at Prasyang of Pokhara Metropolitan City-5 in Kaski on Monday night.

Dholandra Chhantyal of Nadipur, Pokhara-3 and another unidentified youth died after being hit by the car heading towards Zero KM from Baglung Bus last night, the District Police Office, Kaski said.

Incapacitated in the incident, they were taken to the Paschimanchal Regional Hospital but breathed their last on the way.

The car driver fled the scene after the incident.

Police said that they have impounded the car and are searching for the absconding driver.
