Constitution Day in pictures

KATHMANDU: The government has organized a special program at the Army Pavilion in Tundikhel on the occasion of Constitution Day on Wednesday.

President Ram Chandra Paudel took part in the programme as the chief guest.

Vice-President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, Chief Justice Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha, National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, acting Prime Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, lawmakers, secretaries, heads of security agencies, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions and other high-ranking dignitaries and mediapersons among others were present in the program.

On the occasion, an army helicopter also showered flower petals and displayed a banner that read ‘Constitution Day’.

Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Lalitpur Metropolitan City and Bhaktapur Metropolitan City showcased cultural shows in the programme.
