NEPSE surges 20.68 points Sunday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 20.68 points to close at 2,164.61 points on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

A total of 14,100,988 units of the shares of 259 companies were traded for Rs 5.45 billion.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 3.12 trillion.

Likewise, all the sub-indices saw green except for Manufacturing And Processing, Banking and Microfinance.

Meanwhile, Khaptad Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (KLBS) and Barahi Hydropower Public Limited (BHPL) were the top gainers today with their prices surging by 10 percent.

Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC) was the top loser as its price fell by 4.25 percent.
