NEPSE surges 56.88 points Thursday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged 56.88 points to close at 2,029.03 points on Thursday.

Similarly, the sensitive index rose 391.30 points to close at 9.98 points.

A total of 8,024,559 units of the shares of 257 companies were traded for Rs 2.86 billion.

Likewise, all the sub-indices saw green in today’s market.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 2.93 trillion.

Meanwhile, Himalaya Urja Bikas Company Limited (HURJA), Sanima Life Insurance Limited (SLI), Shrijanshil Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SHLB) were the top gainers today with their prices surging by 10 percent.

Nepal Bank Debenture 2087 (NBLD87) was the top loser today as its price fell by 3.95 percent.
