NEPSE plunges 2.62 points Wednesday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunges 2.62 points to close at 1897.08 points on Wednesday.

Similarly, the sensitive index fell 1.12 points to close at 370.19 points.

A total of 2,087,876 units of the shares of 246 companies were traded for Rs 727.8 million.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 2.74 trillion.

Meanwhile, CYC Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CYCL) and Eastern Hydropower Limited (EHPL) were the top gainers today with their prices surging by 10 percent.

Peoples Hydropower Company Limited (PHCL) was the top loser today as its price fell by 10 percent.
