Parliament Gen Secy gives ‘clean chit’ to CJ Rana, prepares to return to SC today itself

KATHMANDU: The impeachment motion filed at the Parliament against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana has become ineffective.

Dr Bharat Raj Gautam, General Secretary of the Parliament, has handed a letter over to Rana stating that the impeachment motion filed against him has become ineffective.

Talking to Nepal Press over phone, Rana said that he has received the letter from Parliament.

He said that he is preparing to go to the Supreme Court today itself.

Rana is retiring on December 13.
