“Recently concluded elections reaffirmed need and relevance of coalition”

KATHMANDU: The ruling alliance has concluded that the recently completed elections to the House of Representatives and Province Assembly have reaffirmed the need and relevance of the coalition.

Issuing a joint statement on Monday, Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Nepal and Rastriya Janamorcha Party Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC said that the incumbent coalition is necessary to take the country towards the path of political stability and economic prosperity.

The coalition is necessary to deal with the challenges facing the country, the statement read.
