Students burn PM’s effigy to protest against fuel price hike

KATHMANDU: Students affiliated to the All Nepal National Free Students Union, student wing of the main opposition CPN-UML, on Thursday burnt the effigy of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to protest against the recent decision of the government to increase the prices of petroleum products.

They gathered outside the Shankar Dev Campus and burnt the effigy this evening.

The students demanded that the government roll back its decision to hike the prices of petroleum products at the earliest.
