Nepal receives over 1 million doses of Vero Cell vaccine from China

KATHMANDU: Nepal received 1.18 million doses of Vero Cell vaccine from China on Tuesday.

The country purchased the vaccine using a loan from the Asian Development Bank,  the Department of Health Services said.

Nepal has so far received 40.38 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines including Vero Cell, Covishield, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson, Surendra Chaurasiya, Chief of Logistic Management Section of the Department of Health Services said.
