CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Dahal tests positive for Covid-19

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been tested positive for Covid-19.

According to his private secretariat, Dahal did his PCR test yesterday evening after he complained of health problems. Later, the test turned out to be positive for novel coronavirus.

“He is taking rest at his residence and his condition is normal,” his personal secretary Ganga Dahal said.

Maoist Centre another leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha has also been tested positive for Covid-19.

The Central Office of the party has also been closed after almost all the staffers tested positive for coronavirus.
