Vibrant Gujarat summit postponed amid increasing Covid-19 cases

KATHMANDU: The Gujarat Government has postponed the Vibrant Gujarat investor summit due to a rise in Covid-19 cases.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to inaugurate the summit which was earlier slated to be held on January 10.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur along with a 20-member delegation was preparing to go to Gujarat on Sunday.
Gujarat reported 204 new cases of the Omicron variant on Thursday.
