Pun discharged from hospital, to arrive in Kathmandu after three days

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Barshaman Pun has been discharged from the hospital on Tuesday.

He had been receiving treatment at the Third People’s Hospital in Shenzhen, China for jaundice and liver-related diseases since November 26.

Pun was undergoing treatment at the Bangkok-based Samitivej Hospital before he was taken to China.

It has been learnt that he will come to Nepal after three days.

The process to elect office bearers of the party has been halted at the request of Pun. Pun is a strong contender for the post of general secretary.
