Supporters of Chief Justice Rana stage demonstration outside SC (With photos)

KATHMANDU: Supporters of Chief Justice Choldendra Shumsher JB Rana also staged a demonstration outside the Supreme Court on Monday after the lawyers associated with the Nepal Bar Association continued their protest today as well.

Police intervened in the protest organised by the pro-Rana supporters in the premises of the apex court.

They chanted slogans in favour of Chief Justice Rana arguing that the protest of the umbrella body of lawyers across the nation has hampered justice delivery to the hundreds of people. Later, police took them under control.

The disgruntled lawyers staged a sit-in at the main entrance of the Supreme Court for the third consecutive  day on Monday demanding resignation of Chief Justice Rana.
