3 arrested with illegal firecrackers

JANAKPURDHAM: Police have rounded up three persons in possession of illegal firecrackers from Pheta Rural Municipality-3, Bara.

The arrested have been identified as Buddha Lopchan (34), Rajkumar Lopchan (32) and Buddha Lopchan (25) of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-15.

Police said that the trio was apprehended while they were trying to bring the firecrackers to Nepal from India.

Police said that they confiscated 11 bundles of King Cobra and 50 packets of electric sparkles from their possession.

The detainees have been remanded to police custody for five days for investigation.
