Four critically injured in police firing in Motipur clash die during treatment (With video)

RUPANDEHI: Four persons were killed in a clash that broke out between police and locals in Motipur Industrial Area of Rupandehi district on Sunday.

Incapicatated in the incident, the four persons breathed their last during the course of treatment at the Bhairahawa Medical College.

According to hospital administration chief Sushil Gurung, of the 8 persons undergoing treatment at the hospital, four died this evening. One person is said to be critical condition.

It has been learnt that five police personnel are also receiving treatment at the hospital.

The local administration has clamped a curfew to prevent any untoward incident after a clash erupted between locals and police personnel this afternoon.

But, the security personnel have not been able to take the situation under control.
