PM Deuba to take part in UN Climate Change conference

KATHMANDU: A Nepali delegation including Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will take part in the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 26) due to take place in Glasgow, UK from November 1-12.

COP26 Regional Ambassador to Asia-Pacific and South Asia, Ken O’Flaherty, who is on a Nepal visit, informed about the same.

Earlier on Thursday, he held a meeting with Chief Secretary Shankardas Bairagi to discuss Nepal’s preparation and a delegation taking part in the conference.

During the meeting, Chief Secretary Bairagi said that Prime Minister Deuba will participate in the conference.
