One more arrested in connection to mass murder in Sankhuwasabha

KIMATHANKA: Police have arrested one more person in connection to the murder of six members of a family at Khola Gaun in Madi Municipality of Sankhuwasabha on Thursday.

Police identified the arrestee as Naresh Karki, brother of Lok Bahadur Karki.

Tej Bahadur Karki (52), his daughter-in-law Kamala Karki, Ranjana Karki, wife Parbati Karki, grandson Bipin Karki (6) and granddaughter Goma (5) Karki were brutally murdered on September 6.

Tej Bahadur’s father, Buddhaman Karki (90) was unhurt in the incident.

Earlier on Sepetember 11, police had also arrested Lok Bahadur for this alleged involvement in the mass murder.

Naresh was arrested after police found Ranjana’s mobile set with him.

Police suspected that he might have been involved in the incident.
