Landslide obstructs Pokhara-Baglung road section

KATHMANDU: The landslides which hit various places along the Pokhara-Baglung road of the Bhupi Sherchan Highway on Friday has obstructed vehicular movement and hundreds of people have been left stranded.

It has been estimated that the road will be ready to resume vehicular movement in at least a week as landslides have hit more than 15 places across the Pokhara-Baglung road.

As there is still a risk of landslides, it has been requested not to use the road section except for urgent work.

Efforts are being made to resume along the road as soon as possible.
