Nepal-India joint military drill to start from September 20

KATHMANDU: The 15th edition of Nepal-India joint military drill will commence from September 20.

According to Nepal Army spokesperson Sanotsh Ballav Paudel, the drill, which was halted due to Covid-19 pandemic, will be held in Pithoragarh for two weeks.

Paudel said that 350 Indian army and 300 Nepal army will take part in the joint military exercise that has been named ‘Suryakiran’.

Nepal has been conducting military drill with the Indian Army for the past 13 years.

Nepal and India have been conducting joint military drill alternately every year.
