Four arrested with Yarsagumba
KATHMANDU: A police team deputed from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD) arrested four persons in possession with Yarsagumba, the medicinal herb also known as the Himalayan Viagra.
The arrestees have been identified as Dundup Gurung (48) of Gorkha, currently residing in Mitranagar, Kathmandu, Bel Bahadur Thapa (50) of Lamjung, presently living in Naya Buspark, Krishna Pariyar (40) of Gorkha, currently residing in Baniyatar and Dan Bahadur GC (47) OF Pyuthan, presently living in Tarkeshwor.
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested them with 1.85 kg of Yarsagumba worth Rs 8 million from Samakhusi of the Capital.
All the detainees have been handed over to the Division Forest Office, Kathmandu for necessary action.
