Landlord arrested on charges of not renting room to a Dalit released

KATHMANDU: Saraswati Pradhan, who was arrested for not renting a room to a Dalit girl, has been released.

Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Chief SSP Ashok Singh said that she was released on bail following the order of the public prosecutor.

He told Nepal Press “A dossier has been sent to Metropolitan Police Circle Singha Durbar for further investigation”. Pradhan was arrested three days ago.
