Health assistance provided to Nepal Army by Indian Army

KATHMANDU: Health supplies provided by the Indian Army against the COVID pandemic in Nepal have been provided to the Nepal Army today.

The materials were handed over by Indian Ambassador Vinay Mohan Kwatra to Chief of Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa.

The Indian Army has provided ventilators, ICU beds, PPE sets and ambulances to help respond to the epidemic. General Thapa also thanked India for its assistance.

In addition, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has provided 200 biomedical oxygen concentrators of 10 litres capacity to Nepal against the COVID pandemic.
