Labor sanction to be given every Wednesday starting today

KATHMANDU: The Foreign Employment Office is going to give final labor approval every Wednesday from today.  

The Foreign Employment Office under the Department of Foreign Employment, Tahachal, had decided to issue a labor permit one day per week a few days ago.

Considering the prevalence, control and prevention of COVID-19 infection, the office had stopped the service from 6th May, 2020. In the meantime, arrangements were made to get labor approval online.

Earlier, the Nepal Foreign Employment Entrepreneurs Association had drawn the attention of the Department of Foreign Employment demanding to make arrangements for sanctioning labor one day a week. Entrepreneurs have been demanding that the issuance of work permits should not be stopped for those who have already been issued visas, and arrangements should be made for them to go abroad with convenience.
