Supreme Court orders to allow online businesses during prohibitory orders

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has issued an interim order not to stop e-commerce during the ongoing prohibitory orders.

A joint bench of Justices Sapna Malla and Kumar Chudal on Monday issued an order not to suspend the provision of e-commerce services for online purchase, sale, and home delivery until the issue is settled.

Advocates Subhash Pathak, Awesh Adhikari, Sagar Poudel, Krishna Pal, and Raksha Singh on behalf of the petitioner and Associate Advocate Sanjeev Raj Regmi on behalf of the opposition debated on whether to issue an interim order or not.
