5,316 new infections and 7,219 recoveries reported on Wednesday

KATHMANDU: In the last 24 hours 5,316 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country. 16,878 antigen and PCR samples were tested. An additional 101 people have died. 

4,524  infections were confirmed from 13,805 PCR tests in laboratories across the country, and 3073  antigen tests confirmed the infection in 792 people.

7,219 people have recovered. The recovery rate is 80.8%. 

The total number of infected has reached  5,71,111. A total of 7,555 people have lost their lives.

The number of actively infected has reached 1,01,993
