President Bhandari corresponds to US counterpart Biden requesting special vaccination initiative for Nepal

WASHINGTON: President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has written to her US counterpart Joe Biden requesting a special initiative from the US for the supply of vaccine against COVID-19 in Nepal. 

Ambassador to Nepal Yubaraj Khatiwada has handed over the President’s letter to Ervin Massinga, Senior Advisor to the US State Department Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs.

During the meeting, Ambassador Khatiwada briefed Massinga on the status of the virus pandemic in Nepal and the vaccination campaign.
