Prohibitory orders in Kathmandu Valley extended till June 3

KATHMANDU: The prohibitory orders imposed due to the spread of coronavirus infection in the Kathmandu Valley have been extended for another week.

Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur have decided to maintain the prohibitory orders till midnight on 3rd June.

Chief District Officer of Lalitpur, Dhundi Prasad Niraula, said that the orders have been extended, concluding that the virus infection has not decreased and traffic is still intact.

Lalitpur CDO Niraula said that the added lockdown will be in force from 1 AM on 28th May to midnight on 3rd June. All the three district administrations have come to the conclusion that further decisions will be taken after considering the situation for a week.
