27 houses damaged in Lamjung, one injured referred to Chitwan

POKHARA: The quake that struck Lamjung Marsyangdi Village Municipality on Wednesday morning has damaged 27 houses as of now. 

According to District Police Office Lamjung Spokesperson and DSP Ganga Thapa, six people have been injured in the quake.

According to DSP Thapa, one of the injured has been shifted to Chitwan for further treatment. “One person has a head injury. Therefore, he has been sent to Chitwan for further treatment,” he said. DSP Thapa said more details about the quake damage are yet to come.

“We have now informed all the agencies and deployed our youth. Details of the damage are yet to come,” he informed.

Three earthquakes were reported on Wednesday morning with Lamjung as the epicentre.
