Government decides to allow international flights to Qatar and Guangzhou

Discussions also to be held on Prime Minister's vote of confidence as soon as possible

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to open flights to Qatar and Guangzhou. Foreign Minister Pradip Gyawali informed Nepal Press that the decision was taken at a cabinet meeting held on Saturday evening. According to him, it has been decided to open one flight a week between two countries after facing difficulties with medical supplies and humanitarian supplies against COVID-19.

He also said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli would seek a vote of confidence from the parliament as soon as possible. Responding to Nepal Press on how long it would take, Foreign Minister Gyawali replied, “The day is not fixed, but it will be as soon as possible.”
