Nepal Airlines aircraft flies to Oman to bring 560 oxygen cylinders

KATHMANDU: A wide-body aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation has left for Oman this morning to bring necessary oxygen cylinders.

The aircraft will arrive in Kathmandu at 6:30 PM on Saturday with 560 oxygen cylinders.

The cylinders were procured with the help of the Non-Resident Nepali Association and the Nepali Embassy in Muscat. Those cylinders are now kept at Muscat Airport. 

The oxygen cylinders were purchased from Muscat-based Al Habsi Trading Company for 63,700 dollars. The government will bear the cost of the charter flight to bring the cylinders.

This is the first Nepal Airlines flight to Oman.
