US Department of Defense provides Nepal with medical supplies worth Rs 360 million

KATHMANDU: The United States has provided 360 million worth of healthcare items to Nepal.

The US Department of Defense has provided respiratory, isolation materials, PPE, and high-flow oxygen devices to Nepal for its ongoing fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Also included are telemedicine equipment, test equipment, handwashing stations and health clinic supplies.

A statement from the US Embassy stated that the materials had been provided to the Ministry of Health and the CCMC.

The United States has previously announced that it will provide USD 39.9 million worth of health care to Nepal through partner agencies.
