SEE and Grade 12 examinations postponed

KATHMANDU: This year’s SEE and Class 12 board exams have been postponed. A meeting of the National Examination Board held this morning has decided to postpone the examinations at both levels due to the risk of COVID infection and ongoing prohibitory orders.

This year’s SEE was scheduled to start on 26th May and the Class 12 examination on 9th June. Both exams were postponed last year due to lockdown.

Ishwar Raj Dhakal, Press Advisor to the Minister of Education, told Nepal Press that the board members will come up with their suggestions within 15 days and then a new date will be fixed for the modality of the postponed examination.
