I will not make any deals, appeals can be brought if there are any legal difficulties for Madhav Nepal to go to Prachanda’s side: Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairperson and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli have made it clear that there will be no deal with Madhav Nepal. Oli has also warned that action will be taken against the main person for gathering the faction in the name of UML.

In an exclusive interview with Nepal Press Editor-in-Chief Matrika Poudel, Chairman Oli also said that Madhav Nepal and Jhala Nath Khanal are no longer UML members. Oli said he could be given a seat if he apologized for the gathering and for taking action against him in the past.

Oli said, ” I will not deal with the faction. The party workers should stay in their places.” You can’t bring factional forces. What has been gathered in the name of the party is a matter of action, now the action is not against the faction but against the person who is the main culprit.

In another context, Prime Minister Oli said that he would help the Madhav Nepal faction by bringing an ordinance or a bill if there was a legal problem.

Oli said, “If there is a problem with the rupture, I can file a petition. I will let the ordinance bill do something.” The party is to live voluntarily, not by force. I am a democratic person, I will not be enslaved.

Oli said that no action would be taken against all those who attended the rally of Madhav Nepal’s side and claimed that he had sent 25 percent cadres there.
