Madhu Prasad Regmi appointed Chairman of Teachers Service Commission

KATHMANDU: The government has appointed former secretary Madhu Prasad Regmi as the Chairman of Teachers Service Commission.

A Cabinet meeting held on Monday had decided to appoint Regmi as the Chairman of Teachers Service Commission, government spokesperson and Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Gyanendra Karki said.

The government has also appointed former joint secretary Dilliram Rimal and Nanda Kunari Maharjan as the members of Teachers Service Commission.

The commission had been without office bearers for the past one year.
