2 JSP-N ministers resign in Province 2, to induct ministers from Maoist Centre

JANAKPURDHAM: Two Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal (JSP-N) ministers of Province 2 have resigned on Saturday.

Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Gyanendra Kumar Yadav and State Minister Saroj Singh Kushwaha tendered their resignation this morning.

The Upendra Yadav-Baburam Bhattarai faction of the JSP-N had sacked the ministers of the Mahantha Thakur-Rajendra Mahato faction of the JSP-N to incorporate CPN (Maoist Centre) in the government.

According to a source, Chief Minsiter Lal Babu Raut had received the resignation letters of both the ministers.

It has been learnt that the leaders of CPN (Maoist Centre) will fill the vacant posts. CPN (Maoist Centre) Parliamentary Party leader Bharat Sah will be the minister and lawmaker Rubi Karna will be the state minister.

Sah was elected as a provincial lawmaker from Mahottari Constituency 1 (A) while Karna became a lawmaker through proportional representation category.
