Newly appointed FinMin Sharma announces to issue white paper

KATHMANDU:  Newly appointed Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has announced to issue white paper.

Minister Sharma said so during a programme organized at the Ministry of Finance on Friday.

“Currently, a study is being carried out to know the economic condition of the country,” the finance minister said.

He said that the government will issue the white paper incorporating the future plans and economic condition of the country.

Earlier, the then Finance Minister Yuvaraj Khatiwada had also issued the white paper. The 15-page white paper had outlined weak economic condition of the country.
