Bharatpur update: Renu Dahal leading by 2, 000 votes

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) mayoral candidate Renu Dahal has maintained a lead by 2, 000 votes.

According to the latest update, she garnered 11, 090 votes against CPN-UML’s Bijay Subedi who secured 900, 90 votes.

The counting of votes is underway in ward 7 and 8 at present.

Independent candidate Jagannath Paudel got 4, 958 votes.

Deputy mayoral candidate Chitrasen Adhikari obtained 23, 245 votes and Himala Gurung of RPP received 7, 371 votes.
