NEPSE drops 17.93 .87 points on Monday
KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the sole secondary market of the country, index plunged by 17.93 points to close at 2,358.81 points on Monday.
A total of 5,439,087 units of shares of 231 companies were traded for Rs 2.46 billion.
Similarly, the sensitive index, which measures the performance of class ‘A’ stocks, lost 2.34 points and reached 451.19points.
In today’s market, all sub-indices saw red except for Manu.& Pro. and Microfinance which saw a decline of 194.81 and 6.35 points respectively.
At the end of the day, total market capitalisation stood at Rs 3.32 trillion.
Meanwhile, Gurkhas Finance Limited was the top gainer for today, with its price surging by 10 percent while Mountain Energy Nepal Limited was the top loser with its price fell by 6.17 percent.
