NEPSE drops 37.87 points on Thursday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index plunged by 37.87 points to close at 2,376.74 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

A total of 5,379,860 units of shares of 224 companies were traded for Rs 2.30 billion.

Similarly, the sensitive index fell 5.88 points to reach 453.53 points.

In today’s market, all sub-indices saw red except for Mutual Funds.

At the end of the day, total market capitalisation stood at Rs 2.30 trillion.

Meanwhile, Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited was the top gainer today, with its price surging by 9.99 percent. Green Life Hydropower Limited was the top loser as its price fell by 7.59 percent.

Prabhu Bank Limited had the highest turnover of Rs 94.319 million.
