UML’s Daman Bhandari wins in Bajhang Province Assembly

KAILALI: CPN-UML candidate Daman Bhandari emerged victorious in the by-election in Bajhang.

He defeated Abhishek Bahadur Singh of Nepali Congress to secure a Province Assembly seat in Sudurpaschim.

Bhandari mustered 11, 612 votes while his closest contender Singh garnered 11, 343 votes. The difference between the two is 266.

Similarly, Janak Bahadur Budha of the CPN (Maoist Centre) obtained 3, 831 votes and Dil Bahadur Singh of CPN (Unified Socialist) received 2,514 votes.
