Govt serious about resolving problems of share market: Minister Sharma

KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma said that the government is serious about protecting the investments of investors in the share market.

Speaking at a programme organised in the Capital on Monday, Minister Sharma said that the minister cannot play a role of increasing/decreasing the share market. He added that only the regulatory body knows about the same.

He said that the government had also taken action against those involved in carrying out irregularities in the market.

Minister Sharma said that the government has been holding discussions with the experts to resolve the problems seen in the share market.

Saying that the government is serious about developing the policy and technology to protect the investments and resolve the problems of investors, he assured the investors that the government will soon resolve their problems.
