Chhath festival observed by worshipping setting sun (With photos and video)

KATHMANDU: The third and main day of Chhath festival was celebrated in Kathmandu Valley by offering prayers to the setting sun on Wednesday.

Thousands of Hindu devotees throng ponds and rivers in various places like Gaurighat, Hadigaun and Kalimati among others to perform Chhath rituals.

The festival will conclude tomorrow with the worship of rising sun.
