UML to hold convention in all wards across the nation on October 23

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has decided to hold convention in all wards across the nation on October 23.

The convention will elect new leaders in 6,745 wards of the country.

The party has decided to complete of ward and local level and district and Province conventions before the general convention in November.

The party said has decided to hold the convention of 753 local level on October 26.

Central office Secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will virtually inaugurate the ward convention.

Tamang said that the convention will elect chairman, two vice-chairmen, secretary, two deputy secretaries and members.
