Nepal Police Inspector Shiwakoti nabbed for sexually abusing girl

KATHMANDU: A Nepal Police inspector has been arrested on the charge of sexually abusing a girl.

The suspect has been identified as Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Inspector Bidur Shiwakoti.

Kathmandu District Police Range Chief Basanta Raujare said that Inspector Shiwakoti was detained for trying to rape a 14-year-old girl.

According to a source, the girl has been working as a domestic worker in the house of Shiwakoti.

The girl had field a complaint at the Metropolitan Police Cricle, Swoyambhu stating that Shiwakoti had tried to rape her.

Following the complaint, the Metropolitan Police Circle, Swoyambhu nabbed Shiwakoti.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
