ICC T20 World Cup: Nepal suffer six-wicket defeat against Netherlands

KATHMANDU: Nepal lost to the Netherlands by six wickets in their first match of the ICC T20 World Cup.

Chasing the target of 106 runs, the Netherlands made 107 runs in 18. 4 overs losing four wickets.

Max O’ Dowd a scored unbeaten 54 runs for the Netherlands. Similarly, Vikramjit contributed 22 runs.

Sompal Kami, Dipendra Singh Airee and Abhinas Bohora took one wickets each for Nepal.

Earlier, the Netherlands won the toss and invited Nepal to bat first. Nepal scored 106 runs in 19.2 overs.

Captain Rohit Paudel scored highest 35 runs for Nepal.
