Court extends remand of Sirohiya by three days

JANAKPURDHAM: The Dhanusha District Court has extended the remand of Kantipur Media Group Chairman Kailash Sirohiya, who was arrested for holding dual citizenship, by three days.

The court has ordered the police administration to carry out an investigation by keeping him in custody.

A single bench of judge Churaman Khadka issued the order, Dhanusha District Court Registrar Kailash Prasad Bhattarai said.

Sirohiya, who was detained from Kathmandu in the fake citizenship case on Tuesday, was taken to Dhanusha this morning.
