Gold price touches a record high of Rs 140, 000 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has set a new record at Rs 140,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market on Thursday.

The price of yellow metal has increased by Rs 1,600 per tola and reached Rs 140,000.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the hallmark gold was traded at Rs 138,400 on Wednesday.

Similarly, the price of tejabi gold has reached Rs 139,300 per tola today against Rs 137,750 per tola.

Likewise, the price of silver is determined at Rs 1, 805 per tola, an increase of Rs 5 per tola.
